Oh my….a real Model Search, by Truth Hair was announced earlier this week and although I am usually not eager to join contests, this seemed a fun one with pretty easy rules. You can find all the information in the special group on Flickr, where you can also see all entries sofar. The closing date is 1 June 2013, so that gives plenty of time to give it a try. I made 3 pictures, and since the hair is supposed to be the main feature, I wanted to make pictures in which I did not need to Photoshop the hair, but show it as it is. Well, that was easier said than done! It took me hours to find the right pose, including the right clothes which did not interfere with the hair, the light and then there is the size requirement: 2048×2048 px, such a large size I never use.

But it was fun doing and quite the experience!
Now, I am aware Caitlin is not a model – well I do not really consider her one – and looking at other entries I now think: OMG, I have kept my pictures way to simple…no decors, no jewelry…wah, I was so focussed on getting the hair right I totally forgot to accessorize! Oh boo and oh well, I like them!
The hair is not photo-shopped, I sharpenened my eyes and lashes (in picture two I had to ‘repair’ my ear..lol)  and adjusted the brightness of the total images a bit. The pictures are taken while using the Firestorm viewer, in ultra graphics, anti-aliasing to 16 and I took the pics in 5000×3000 px (thanks for that tip Ginger!), and all of them are in WL: Annan Adored Light Explosion II.
