Inner peace

Because (Second) life can be intense and at times stressful, it’s good to find places where you can relax and enjoy some time alone, or with friends, and simply….be.

I am not the philosophical type, nor am I known for my spirituality, but somewhere deep down in Cait is a girl that needs to get back in balance every now and then.

Anyways! This morning I was in need for inner peace and found the Buddha Center, with hot springs and spa. How lovely to practice some yoga on a mat in the mist, wearing the towel that is provided at the entrance. Suitable music on the background and soon I felt all Zen, actually feeling myself unwind.

Unwinding with some Yoga

Don’t ask me why, but the following came to my mind, while spending time here. And yes I am aware its Confucian and not Buddha, but in the end its all about Karma:

Tzu-kung asked, “Is there one word which may serve as a rule of practice for all one’s life?”
Confucius answered, “Is not reciprocity such a word? What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.”‘

The Buddha center also has temples and places to meditate, Tai-Chi, a Deer Park and a modest shop.

Don’t just lurk, comment!
