Tonight was the big night….the first interclan CTF (Capture the Flag) for our new members, against another clan!
We had invited Sessou Samurai, so Glu came with his team of 7 fairly new students, so this was a good experience and a fair game! Pilar and I were ‘referees’, meaning we stood at the sides and shouted the names of the unfortunate dead ones and kept an eye on the flagcarriers and general rules. Luckily H and Ratt also watched with us, when 14 nervous fighters are running around, it is not always easy to see what is going on!
Ratt made a fabulous arena earlier in the day, with huge platforms to jump on and off, a super-arena and great fun!
After five nerve wrecking rounds the score was: ImperiuM 4 – Sessou Samurai 1. Now is winning not most important, but to be honest…of course we felt very proud about our team!
Needless to say, we will get invited back for a rematch at Sessou soon….can’t wait!

Nice and restrained comments there Cait! It was a good evening. Although you did not mention that the one we did not win was due to the confusion of flag carrier thinking the game had ended and running back to the start area!

Ok, looked up what you meant with restrained..hah! Yup, short story, but in line with the style of my whole blog? :P.
Seriously, I could write a book about ImperiuM and last night, but it was 2AM…I was still overexcited and nervous..And aw, the lost round, oh well..we could afford one lil mistake?
