One of the forumthreads these past days was about ‘lipstick’. Always an interesting topic! In RL I don’t wear lipstick often, but I never leave the house without lipgloss.
In Second Life, Caity always has bright red lips, I think since 2 years. I have the fatpack of skins, so I could change the colour of the lips but it means you also change the eye-makeup, and I dont want that! Therefore I just stick to one skin most of the times (Belleza, Elle Fair nr 11HB with cleavage…what a mouthful!).

In the thread some people mentioned the new usage of tattoo-layers, only in Viewer 2.xx, wich makes it possible to change the lipstick only, instead of changing the complete skin. Now..that got me interested!

So off I went to Glamorize, as I read they sell this magical tattoo-layer lipsticks which should fit on every skin and shape.

I bought a pack of 10 colours, called “Mwah-lipsticks” for the incredible amount of 3 (three!) Linden Dollars. Then I went to a photostudio and tried them all. The result was I still like my default-lips that come with the skin, but in the pack of 10 I also found 3 colours I liked. Not bad and I may even use them in future!

On the pic below, the image top left is without the Mwah-lipstick, just my skin. The other 3 are the Mwah’s.

(note: the lipstick layer replaces the hairbase layer, which I usually wear with this hair…so you  may need to check if all still looks good when using extra make-up!)
