Three Second Life Bloggers You Should Be Following

These days, it can feel like old-school blogging has gone the way of sculpted feet and bling necklaces. Everyone’s on social media, uploading and scrolling pretty pictures on Flickr and Primfeed, posting 0.2-second video reels, or tossing hashtags at Instagram like glitter at a rez day party.

And hey, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. It’s 2025. You do you.

But me? Besides social media, which I also love, I still have a soft spot for blogs that say something. I love reading thoughts, seeing stories unfold, and finding more than just a list of credits under a cute photo. Give me words, give me feelings, give me reasons to teleport.

And you know what? Blogs are still very much a thing!

I should know, because I’ve been blogging about Second Life since 2009. Yes, really. That’s a whole lot of pics, adventures, destinations, art and amazing moments I’ve shared over the years. I don’t blog for clout. I blog because I love it. Because this weird and wonderful virtual world keeps surprising me. Because sometimes a picture isn’t enough, you need the story behind it.

Luckily, I’m not the only one who still believes in the power of a good blog.

It’s personal. It’s thoughtful. It tells a story, not just what someone’s wearing or where they stood for a snapshot, but why they went there, what they felt, and what you might love too. Blogs give you context. Character. That little extra spark. They’re not here to chase likes, they’re here because someone loves Second Life enough to sit down, write it out, and share it with the rest of us.

And I love that. Deeply.

So today I want to shout out three of my favourite Second Life bloggers, each one a queen in her own right. They inspire me, make me laugh, teach me stuff, and remind me why this world is so worth logging in for.

In no particular order, because how do you rank icons?

Dutch*. Stylish. Hilarious. What more could you possibly need? Grazia is basically a fashion-forward hurricane of wit and wisdom. Her styling is always on point (no, really, always), but it’s the storytelling that keeps you coming back. Whether she’s showcasing a look or sharing recipes, she somehow manages to be both iconic and completely down-to-earth. National treasure? I think so.

Even if your German starts and ends with “Wurst,” it doesn’t matter. Susann’s blog is pure visual poetry. Her photos? Amazing. The kind of images that make you want to level up your EEP game and never take another pic until you’ve studied her angles. She takes you on stunning destination tours, showing the beauty of Second Life with elegance and depth. Her images are so good, they should come with a warning label: May cause intense teleport envy.

Each of these ladies brings something different to the table: style, humour, insight, and straight-up talent. They’ve made my Second Life richer, brighter, and way more fabulous.

So if you’re not already following them, do yourself a favour and fix that immediately. Because the only thing better than a great blog post is three great blog posts. And these women? They deliver. Every. Damn. Time.

And hey, this definitely won’t be the last time I shine a light on amazing SL bloggers. I’ll try to feature more in the future, so if you have a favourite blogger I need to know about, drop the link in the comments!  I love discovering new voices! 💖
