I remember my first days in Second Life very well. I came to this world as the ‘girl next-door’, wearing jeans, a purple shirt and flip-flops. Oh and the dreadful brown system hair.

On my arrival I met all kinds of people, on Help Island, and some girls were wearing lovely polkadot- dresses, which made me kind of jealous…as I felt very plain in my jeans…..
I spent my first 3 (!!) weeks on Help Island, having a great time and was blissfully  unaware of the fact there was a whole world to discover. In all my innocence, I thought..this was it!
Luckily, at some point someone told me I could leave this island and move on…explore…live!!

That was more than 3 years ago..

Last week, Karelia had some issues with her avatar. For unknown reasons, a bug, she came online half Ruthed (oh yeah…good old Ruth still appears every now and then!). In an attempt to fix Karelia, I told her to go back to the test-avatar, the female one. To show her nothing bad would happen, I joined her in this re-birth.
The result was that I finally wore the polkadot-dress I wanted so much when I was new! Oh joy!

Karelia’s appearance issues were fixed in a minute and then we returned to our own selves, but not before I took a picture!
