I remember sitting on the sofa on Saturday nights, in PJs wet hair and smelling all fruity after shower-   with coca-cola and crisps…cuddling up with my sister and watching the Muppet Show before bedtime. Sigh…how innocent we were..how simple life was..

Nowadays, the Muppet Show still lives on. In different forms,  but it is still here! How do I know?

Let’s take this forum. Not the official LL forum (which is still offline due to switching to new software) but  let’s take for example the SL Offworld Forum.
Cheap software, ok. Lousy and even more cheap ‘banner-using-eighties-font’, forgiven. Reason for opening: the lack of honest and serious moderation on the official SL forums. Ok..point taken.

Now the official forums are down, there is little choice for true ‘forumites’ to gather and banter along in witty discussions and exchange experiences. So, like many others, I have tried stuff out.

I can only say this, from experience, if you are looking for a decent forum that will respect its own forum-rules and is a nice place to exchange ideas/banter/discuss..the last place on the internet is  the SL Offworld Forum.

They, the novice-admin Raul and his Domme Susperia (it always makes me giggle, Domme….feel free to look up what we Dutch mean with the word: domme…hehe) , think they rule the world and the internet.

It is a shame to see, I really thought  Raul was a decent and reasonable guy, but apparently Suspiria ( aka Miss Piggy for the rest of the forumites, although she probably has no idea this is her nickname used by many of her fanbois/girls behind her back) knows something about him to keep him on a leash and makes him ban people who dare to express a opinion that contradicts Miss Piggy’s view of the perfect SL-world.

Now, Kermit – as any proper obedient frog would d0 – has kicked and banned Caity from his little cosy Muppet Show-Like forum, for having the nerve to say something his Miss Piggy got or could be upset about!

It’s okay though. I can live without the SL Offworld Muppet Show. The real shame is, Kermit posted his message and immediately blocked me, so I cannot defend or explain the shear nonsense he posted. Lame huh?Very Kermit-like and he will no doubt get many pats on the head from his Miss Piggy!
