Meh. Okay, I know I should not complain about my job, as usually really enjoy it. The last year I have worked on a (huge) project and the deadline ergo the grande finale is : this weekend!
On the positive side: I will be very, very happy when all turns out okay this Monday, so I can close this one and maybe even be kinda proud!
On the less positive (I am never really negative) side: I have stress. Real stress. Not even about this deadline, I already know that is not the issue.
But – even after all the tests and pilots in alpha and beta – I fear the reactions of ‘my’ end users..the feedback that will start coming into my mailbox next week, the complaints. Hope it is worth the sleepless nights I have had and have to come and my weekends in the office working like a mad thing to get it all nice and shiny..With a nice link to SL: Gawd have I seen what end users say about a new platform!! I hope I am not going to be treated as Amanda…..LOL!
Yeah, it was one of my reasons to not really get into the whole discussion on and about the new forum, it made me even more stressy and tense!
Oh well!
‘Keep Calm and Carry On’, as Ratt told me….breathe in…breathe out, all will be fine and maybe one day I look back and laugh about all my worries :)

There will be bugs. They will be fixed. There will be people who love the change; there will be those that hate it. Even if everything was done 110% you know that is true.

I’ve actually taught people how to breathe. I kid you not. It helps to do it right. Not doing it at all is a bigger problem though…
