One of the places I had been meaning to visit and explore, after seeing many wonderful images on Flickr,  is Kate Bergdorfs North.

In the mood for some exploring and taking pictures, I headed over to North this evening and ended up spending almost two hours there!

What is North and what is it like? Upon arrival you will receive a notecard with the following explanation:

Inspired by the raw and serene Scandinavian and Scottish northern landscapes, nature, fauna, ocean, vast empty spaces, and decrepit old buildings come together to make up the outside part of North. I intentionally opposed the rugged sim exterior with softer, more playful and cluttered interior spaces in order to create a contrast. I hope you will be as inspired when visiting North as I was when putting it together.

There is not much I can add to this, as it is exactly that. A wonderful place, filled with lovely details (if you take the time, you will see new things everywhere), but without giving it an overdecorated feel.

North is perfect for photography – be it landscapes, home and decor or fashion-shoots. I recommend you go and experience it, it’s worth it!
