For the 8th time, I have been asked to be an official photographer and guest blogger for the most awesome event of the year, the Fantasy Faire. Yes I had to look it up, and I’ve been doing this since 2014 and every year I look forward to it. The event that is, but am also every year honoured and grateful to be asked.

Last week I was once again privileged, in my role as photographer, to explore the 21 regions of awesomeness to take pictures. And, I say this every year but it is true: I am in awe. The creativity, the inventive and fun…it’s so, so wonderful. Every single region I have seen so far is exceeding my expectations.

And since I have been running and flying around the past week, with my camera, I thought it would be cool to show you some raw unedited images. Because I am cool like that!

The Fantasy Faire 2021 will be open to the public from April 22 – till May 9. The SLurl to the event will be found on the official website on opening day. Everyone is welcome to explore and join the fun!

Fantasy Faire is one of the megaevents of Relay For Life of Second Life. RFL of SL is a part of American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life fundraising. You can visit their page of the Second Life Teams to see how much various SL events have earned for Relay For Life during the year.

In 2020 Fantasy Faire ranked 24th out of 40,000 Relay For Life Teams worldwide in terms of money-raised. In addition, Relay For Life of Second Life was the 5th highest RFL fundraising community event worldwide.
