“The Corn Field is a region of Mythological status where once naughty avatars were sent to think about what they had done. The Corn Field is a vast star-lit field of corn and was cut off from communication with the rest of the world. A reference to the classic Twilight Zone episode ‘It’s a good life’. It is located at the North-West tip of Orientation Island I and closed to the public.”

That’s what is written in stone at the landing point of The Corn Field, as it is open to public for the very first time, to celebrate Halloween.

It is no longer in use, as a ‘prison’ for suspended avatars, it was already closed when Cait was born in 2007, so I only knew it from stories….

Now it is open for limited time and I was so happy to finally take a look and pictures! A cool experience, and worth a visit for as long as it is open. I have no idea when it will be closed again..
