The Bayou is, aside from being the home of the mainstore of  Aileen’s Shabby Chic & Country Store (you get to the shop in the sky via a teleporter) a wonderful photogenic sim, with a swampy look and feel – lovely landscaped and decorated and good for some hours of zooming around taking pictures!

I really enjoyed spending time here, playing with windlights and all and listening to the subtle sounds of nature! I took so many pictures I found it hard to choose which ones to post in this blog, so I may end up posting some more on Flickr soon. If you like quiet, swampy natural looking locations..this is most certainly a place to go to!
