THE event of the year, since years in Second Life for me is:  The Fantasy Faire. And I am thrilled, excited ánd very proud that the FF 2017 organisation again asked me to contribute on the official Fantasy Faire website/blog as guest author and as photographer.

The Fantasy Faire 2017 will span 15 sims and I am already sure they all will be amazing, the Fairelands open to the public 20-30 April and it is an offical SL RFL event. One of the biggest in Second Life.

Merchants can apply already and blogger application will open soon, for more information on that,  please check the offical Fantasy Faire website!

On a side note, there is this.

One of the veteran Fantasy Faire sim designers for years is Elicio Ember, known from his home Cerridwen Cauldron and his awesome sims for past Fantasy Faires.
This year he had to pull out from the Faire, for personal – tragic – reasons, his father got seriously ill and in the country he lives (Mexico) , treatment is possible but at a high cost.
Due to circumstances, all explained on this website Filling the Cauldron, Elicio cannot be a part of his beloved Faire as he is facing not only caring for his father but also a lot of medical costs.

The Fantasy Faire community and lovers of Cerridwen’s Cauldron have stepped up, and while Elicio will not be able to participate in this years Faire, the Second Life community can participate by helping him out.

RUNNING FROM SATURDAY APRIL 1ST THROUGH SUNDAY APRIL 9TH, Filling the Cauldron will be a region-wide event at Holly Kai Park  – by Inara Pey and Caitlin Pey (caitlyn015.resident) in the beautiful Blake sea, and will be featuring:

–   Live music and DJ performances at the park’s main events venue
–   An art display inspired by Elicio’s work
–   An auction
–   A special Design a Garden contest with a very special prize
–   A photo contest with special prizes
–   A market area, Cerridwen’s Corner – a mini-store of Elicio’s creations, allowing you to buy his items & visit his main store.

Filling the Cauldron. Check it out.

See you at the Fantasy Faire!

Yesterday at Noon SLT, the doors to the 17 sims of SL13B were opened to all and so the exploring can begin.
I’ve blogged about three mainstages yesterday, and today I finally had the time to explore the fourth DJ Stage: The Automaton.
A full sim build by the ever so talented steampunk artist and creator of Contraption, Walton F. Wainwright (faust.steamer) – and oh…my…god…is this some stage!

Over the years I have blogged so many of Cica Ghost’s installations, she is one of SL’s most productive artists, and her artwork never bores and always impresses me.

Today I wen to explore her current Arachnid which features, oh surprise, spiders! Big ones. Animated and moving ones. Oh and did I say they are huge?

Berry’s meme for this week is all about Movie Posters, a theme she had done last year (which I don’t think I participated in) and a very cool one to do!

Of course I want to show off that I am a fan of really intelligent, difficult,  movies. Ya know Oscar material and nothing less….so after some binge-googling I found the perfect one for me and I think I  nailed it!

Life with Pies - Monday Meme

You can find all the information on this Challenge in Berry’s blogpost, and don’t forget to look at the comments in which you soon will find links to others as well!

Surely you can? Who doesn’t ?!

Today I spent some time in the  Singularity Tribe. Or ‘on’, rather. [The] Singularity Tribe is a massive space-station – you can spot me on one of the photo’s below if you look real close, to see the size – inside a globe as to make it feel you are in space.

Founded and created by Alexi Ayres, this place is for all of those who search for positive vibes, through music  (GOA Trance to be precise) and art.  Or as the information notecard says:

‘Singularity Tribe began with a single mission of creating positive vibes through music, art, performances. Our gatherings function like lighthouses to welcome anyone in search of positivity. As we continue in our journey, we keep our core values close to our hearts for guidance and strength.’
