In real life I have never been to the Grand Canyon, but it is on my wishlist! Luckily there is Second Life and I was happy to find out you can visit the Grand Canyon in virtuality!
It is a great place for photo shoots, specially when you play a bit with different skies and settings. Also the sound of a thunderstorm in the distance adds to the ambiance.
(what I did not really like…too many danceballs and random ‘stuff’ all over the place, it makes it look a bit messy – but it is still worth a visit if you manage to ignore this)

Awesome pictures Caitlin! I was there the other day and it didn’t look as good as this! I’m going to have to go back and try some other settings.

Yeah, in normal settings the place looks a bit em..average. That is why I always play with skies and graphics, when I see ‘potential’ for pictures. Also, I have to confess: I cropped the images in photoshop to get rid of the ‘stuff’ that was bothering me (signs, danceballs and whatnot), so I made it look a bit nicer than it actually is..but hey! That’s the challenge and fun!
