Ah yeah, another challenge/meme from Strawberry and oh my, she really tries to let us bloggers tell the truth and nothing but the truth about our virtual life eh?
This week’s meme is again a fun one, although I have seen this kind of questions before and participated on it on several online platforms, but that’s fine and I will once again be honest!

What’s your SL name?
Caitlin Tobias

What made you choose this name?
Long story short. Caitlin is technically an Alt, I created her due to circumstances having to do with my first account being involved in gambling- poker, ahem – don’t judge, it was legal and allover the grid in 2007!
The name Caitlin Tobias is not random at all, as I knew when creating her there was a process in naming and changing afterwards is not possible (in 2007 there was no option for display names yet).
Now, when I was a lil Caity in RL, let’s say when I was 3-4 years old, I could not properly pronounce my first name. It is no secret my rl- first name is Caroline, but when I was a toddler I pronounced my name as (ah yes, I am Dutch, so it may not make sense to everyone): ‘Kato’ or ‘Kaatje’. I have, in the years before I entered SL always used Cato as my internet name. My dad, and some close rl friends, call me Kato/Cato in RL. It is my rl-nickname. So when I had to choose a name for this new account, I knew it had to have some sort of ‘Kato’ in it. I browsed through the last-names and found Tobias. An hour of thinking and fiddling made me come up with Caitlin, because when I use it as a signature I could pick the first two letters of my first- and lastname and it would be: CaTo. Kato. Kaatje. So there!

What’s your SL nickname, or what do most people call you?
Caity. Oddly enough there are lots of people who call me ‘Tobias’ in first meetings, usually new residents who have no last-name. I never really understand it, it is obviously a LAST name? I sometimes start calling them ‘Resident’, just because I can :P.

What’s your SL display name? Why do you choose to have one?
I don’t have one.

Yes!

If you could change your SL name, what would it be?
I do not want or need to change it.

What’s the craziest/funniest SL name you’ve ever seen?
Iwon Iwish ( a poker player, hehe)

What’s the coolest (your favorite) SL name you’ve ever seen?
Uhm, pass, there are so many cool names I wish I’d come up with!
