Art in Hats 2014

– With the right hat nothing else matters –

Art in Hats 2014 opened last Saturday and it is a must visit for all of you who love wearing hats. Being it for fashion or art!

Quan Lavender and Emma Portilo have done an outstanding job for this years Art in Hats, getting over 70 creators making over 100 hats in the exhibition/sale!
The concept is quite unique; Quan and Emma have coupled creators of hats with photographers, making the event a real mix in art and hats, just as the title promises.
All images created by photographers from allover Second Life are on display with the hat. Both can be purchased and (some or all, depending on the choice of the creator/photographer) proceeds go to charity: Feed a Smile.

I was honoured to be asked as photographer and to take pictures of two hats, both original images are on display/for sale (and in case anyone buys them, all proceeds go to Feed A Smile), a crazy Rocket Hat by Betty Tureaud and a Cupcake in Disguise by Sweet thing.

(The images of those two, as shown below, not have the ‘watermark’ text over them in the Art in Hats event of course, I needed to do this for publishing purposes, otherwise the whole idea would be off).
