Last night my friend Pepys invited me to a performance of the tribute band he plays in, in Second Life, and well why not!
He didn’t really tell me in advance on what to expect and I had never heard of this band. Actually, only today – the day after…- I found out while looking on YouTube this band is really awesome and has a website too! I very much enjoyed the show last night, and today I realised they actually completely recreated the look of all rl- band-members in SL!
The music is, as the bands name may reveal: hard rock played on bag pipes and I can only say: awesome! What an experience! OK, no fancy mesh avatars, no glamourous venue, but….lovely people, a happy fan-base cheering and the music is just ……amazing! As a tribute band in SL, they play the original bands music but that doesn’t make it any less of a show and great evening. A must see and listen!
