When randomly teleporting around, I ended up in The {Lost} Garden Of Sundarya Lahari By Xineohp Guisse, on LEA13. I explore a lot and often, well..actually it is how I spend most of my SL time. I do not blog about all places I visit, sometimes I just travel around without making pictures and other times I only upload pictures directly to Flickr.
This morning started out as a ‘lets travel and upload to Flickr only’ trip, but after staying a while in The Lost Garden and reading the first two (of five) chapters of the story – which you can obtain at the landingpoint by clicking on the books – I decided to write a blogpost about it after all, since it is very worthwhile a visit!
As mentioned, this build has a story! From chapter one:
‘According to myths, the Ancients discovered a botanical species; a kind of reed that was capable of resonating a sound frequency when touched. The Ancients harvested these reeds and created a meditative and spiritual garden….’
The installation has music and sounds, a cello played by Xineoph, but for some reason I have issues today with streams and music, so I did not hear anything, which is a good reason to go back!
The pictures in this post are raw, uneditted – as I uploaded them directly to Flickr, and I used my beloved cinematic HUD from Chouchou for it, that explains the black frame.
When visiting and exploring this magnificent work, do not forget to go underwater as well…:)
