Nothing like the rain

So it is supposed to be Spring, and in Holland this means: the same rain as in Autumn and Winter, with the difference being the trees are getting green again! It is still cold and windy, but hey hoo…when you are Dutch you are used to 7 months of cold and rain, followed by winter!…

Never have I ever!

Yesterday Berry posted a new Monday Meme after a long hiatus and it is a fun one! I could use a bit of distraction after a long busy day, and so I decided to participate and do a random picture to accompany my 100% honest answers to the 10 questions Berry asks us.

Nusquam

What else to do on a quiet Friday night than ..exploring! While browsing the Destination Guide, Nusquam got my attention – as I remembered the name from some fabulous pics I had seen on Flickr. So there I went, hoping it looked as good as promised!

Playa Flamingo

Last night I received a notice in the SL Blogger Support group, about a new location: Playa Flamingo, owned and decorated by Marcus (marcus688.resident) who has generously opened this for all who want to take pictures and..the coming few days rezzing is allowed too (please clean up after yourselves!).

Location in the Spotlight: The Trace Too

Originally posted on SL Blogger Support:
This month I am happy to feature The Trace Too, one of the sims in SL that have seasonal changes and never disappoint – and also: it is very photographer/blogger friendly, so a good reason to ask owner/landscaper/decorator Kylie Jaxxon to tell us a bit more about her The…

Ironwood Hills – revisited

Almost a year ago I blogged about Ironwood Hills, an urban roleplay sim, and today I returned – after I got a notice that the sim re-opened after a total rebuild! I enjoyed Ironwood Hills a lot last year, so I was curious on how it looks now.

Daydreaming in Everlong

Today I explored a watery, dreamy, location called: Everlong. Filled with wonderfully decorated spots, this is certainly a place to find yourself a comfy chair (plenty of those!) and enjoy the environment.

Bloggers and creators, you are invited!

The other week Katya and I attended a very interesting discussion hosted by Kess Crystal and Saffia Widdershins, at the Home and Garden Expo, about why creators would need bloggers and mostly:  how to find the right blogger for the right creator and vice versa. A hot topic, as…

Sorrow

Sorrow, a wonderful – lonely but peaceful – place. Simple, and demonstrating that less is indeed more!

Here’s the story, of a lovely lady..

I will explain the title of this blogpost in a bit! The other day I met Cain Maven, creator and builder of Maven Homes, at the Home and Garden Expo where I attended a discussion about bloggers and creators and how they could benefit from eachother. Anyway, so Cain Maven was there and we had…

Happy Valentine and remember to ..give!

Last night – for me – I went to the LL Isle of View, for the special Valentine Events ‘Hug-a-Linden’ and ‘Dunk-a-Linden’. Admitting the build isn’t that superspecial and Valentine’s Day isn’t a Dutch thing, but what led me there was the charity. After reading the official announcement of said events, I think it is…

Location in the Spotlight: The Yorkshire Moors

Originally posted on SL Blogger Support:
For this blogpost in my series of Location in the Spotlight I have visited and explored the gorgeous, somewhat bleak and barren, home of PinkRayne – and Rayne Coutures, called The Yorkshire Moors. Recently redecorated into this lovely scenic environment, I wanted to give this place some attention, since…

Telrunya – Forest of Dreams

It has been too long since I’v enjoyed some fantasy places in Second Life, and today I found I needed to be my elf again! To my delight I ended up in a gorgeous place, Telrunya – Forest of Dreams, with plenty of magic and fantasy to immerse in!

Disturbia ‘Rage of mystery’

Just in case you aren’t into all the romantic Valentine locations – it happens! – or just looking for something different…I would recommend a visit to Disturbia’Rage of Mystery’ (Adult) and have fun. Adult rated for, I guess, the amount of horror and some horrible mutilated, bloody, mesh-statues (NPC’s), this place is a ‘game’.

Imesha

When I saw a picture and small description in the Destination Guide about Imesha, I thought it would be a nice change of scenery to visit! A futuristic city, with bright lights and dark alleys, high in the sky.
