As usual, in this time of year, there are dozens – if not dozens of dozens – winter themed sims with snow and all sorts of Holiday decorations and activities. I find it therefore not so easy to explore real nice ones, although I am sure there are lots of them. Also, I’d rather not feature too many of the same themed locations in my blog, so winter and holidays are always a challenge!

This evening I explored and wandered around in the snowy landscape of Maison de L’Amitie. Not so much Christmassy, but lots of snow and picturesque spots and views over a lake surrounding this rural area. If you are a photographer/blogger who wants to be able to rez your own poses and props, good news: you can join the landgroup for free and then you can rez! I always love that so much!

I didnt rez anything, nor did I take pics of myself but I tried to make a nice video, it was about time! Unfortunately, as I am not an experiences machinima maker, I notice only when editting the shots that some of the trees in my footage had not rezzed properly. Eek! But the short clip will give you a nice idea, so I uploaded it anyway – with apologies for some missing trunks and branches! *note to self: pay attention to detail next time!
