When a door closes…

…you can always open it again, because well..that is what doors are for!

Not that I am going to be all philosophical, far from it, but somehow this version of the wellknown saying came to mind this week. After seeing two announcements on Flickr, about two sims I have always enjoyed visiting which will close soon: Binemist and Frisland.

Followers of my blog and Flickr will no doubt know I frequented those lovely places often the past years.

Announcement by Biné Rodenberger

Will I miss those places? Well, of course I will! But I have so many nice memories (and pics) and the people who created them (Biné Rodenberger, Charlie Namiboo, Anna Barzane and Frisland Ferraris) will not disappear and in the end…SL for me is about the people. Also, Biné has already been giving a sneak preview of her new project “Binemust”, to which I already look forward to. If there will be a sequel to Frisland I do not know, but who knows what the future will bring.

For now you can still visit both sims, till they disappear from the grid.

I want to thank the Frisland Crew (Charlie, Anna and Frisland) for having shared their gorgeous home with all of us for years and wish them all the best and a happy Second Life with perhaps – and hopefully – new adventures.

The same thanks go out to Biné and I cannot wait to see what Binemust is all about!

A nice surprise :)
